About Randall




Randall Frietzsche is an innovative, strategic, experienced Information Security Leader, Manager and Engineer.

Beginning as a Deputy Sheriff, Randall has been involved in Security and Law Enforcement for twenty-five years.  Randall has been an enterprise information security consultant, engineer, manager, director and agent of risk reduction with a decade of information security experience - a track record of successes, increasing responsibilities and excellent leadership. Strong technical and business skills, project management, people and process management.

Randall holds the CISSP certification, as well as the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), CompTIA Security+, Network+, Project+, A+, VMware VCP and many other technical certifications.

Randall has a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance (MSISA) from WGU - he also has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from WGU.

Randall has been a long-term leader with the ISSA - an ISSA Distinguished Fellow with 8 years as President of the Kentuckiana Chapter and 6 years as Conference Chair of the Louisville Metro InfoSec Conference.

Randall is also an Infragard, ISACA and OWASP member.

Randall has been involved in the Martial Arts for almost forty years, beginning at the age of 5 with Judo, moving to Kyokushin and Shotokan Karate through the teen years, then studying various martial arts such as Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do and Tae Kwon Do.  Finally ending up with Aikido, Randall has studied Yoshinkan Aikido, Kokoro Ryu Aiki-Jutsu and Aikikai Aikido.  Randall has also studied the Japanese weapons and sword arts, with a particular interest in Kenjutsu.
